Expected Playing XI:
Jos Butler(C and WK), Alex Hales, Dawid Malan, Ben Stokes, Liam Livingstone, Harry Brook, Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, David Willey/Mark Wood, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood.
Strengths of the England Cricket Team:
The batting depth and the presence of multi-dimensional players make England very brutal. The presence of Moeen Ali at number 7 and Chris Woakes at number 8 makes it very clear that we cannot keep England out of the game with the bat till we take at least 8 wickets of them. Also, the presence of dynamic players like Liam Livingstone and Ben Stokes adds immense value. One day they win you games with the bat, the other day with the ball.
Weakness of the England Cricket Team at the ICC T20 World Cup 2022:
The death overs look like a point of concern. The team does have players like Chris Jordan who are T20 specialists and are meant to bowl those tricky overs but has Jordan delivered at the big stage in the past? Also, with many options on the table, does Jordan make it to the playing XI? England also has a question whether it wants to go in with Adil Rashid or are overs from Livingstone and Moeen Ali enough?
